Subtle Methods

I am extremely proud of the effects in Subtle Methods. All of the effects are based on subtle methods instead of sophisticated sleight of hand. None of the effects taught require a pass, double-lift, or even a double-undercut! However, Skalini Time and Ode To Ose are extremely visual and The Garden Path has fooled many of the top magicians over the past five years. Hidden in these notes is my work on the Jackpot Coins plot, which has been a highlight in my professional repertoire for years.

Skalini Time: One of my favorite tricks has always been Matched Picture Cards by Nick Trost. For years I have wanted to create a cleaner version of the trick. Skalini Time is my solution that starts clean, ends clean, and adds a whole interactive aspect to the Trost effect.

Ode To Ose: A unique card effect where cards appear and disappear from your hands. In the end, you will only be holding one card – the selected card.

The Garden Path: A super clean impossible location effect. I also share my “Miscall Ending” that you can use for any other impossible location effect.
